Getting to Maidla Nature Resort

If you are in Estonia, in the capital Tallinn, then these would be the best options how to get to Maidla:

CAR RENT
The easiest way to get to Maidla is to rent a car as this way you will have the flexibility to choose your preferred arrival and departure times, as well as you have the flexibility to discover nearby places. For short term rent Estonia operates a lot with Bolt and Citybee, but also bigger service providers (like Sixt, Europcar etc) are available, also at the airport.

TAXI SERVICE
Our partner will pick you up from the preferred location in the capital, Tallinn and drive you to Maidla Nature Resort.
This service is personal and the price depends on specifications (location, time, stops etc).

HELICOPTER
If you wish to make your stay special or surprise your partner in a different way then there is an option to hire helicopter service.
PS. Please note that helicopter services are available in Estonia only from May to September and are still weather dependent as safety is the main priority for our service provider.

TRAIN
Rapla is the nearest city to Maidla Nature Resort. There is a train from Tallinn-Rapla, but please be mindful that further (bus) connections between Rapla to Maidla are very rare, so rather do not take this option into account. 
It would be possible to organise taxi transfer from Rapla to Maidla or vice versa if we have the request in advance. No taxi apps work in the area.

GREEN FUEL (aka by foot or bicycle)
It depends on where you start your journey of course, but we do have to say that accessing Maidla by foot or bicycle is also doable. Coming from Tallinn you may hop on a train by foot or with a bicycle and then start from Rapla’s train station (ca 10km from Rapla to Maidla). We have had both employees and customers using this option ;)

PS! Please note that although Tallinn operates very well with Bolt and Uber services, then there are no providers in Rapla city or Maidla.
